$15 Million Jury Verdict for Slip and Fall Victim at Cosmopolitan Highlights Importance of Hotel Safety

The hotel injury incident occurred in 2021 at the Chandelier Bar inside the luxury resort. The victim, Deborah Fenton, filed a negligence lawsuit against the property after suffering serious injuries due to what the jury determined was a “dangerous condition” involving water and glass left on the floor.

While the specific nature of her injuries was not disclosed in court documents, the jury’s award included over $12 million for future pain and suffering, and nearly $1.3 million for past suffering and lost enjoyment of life. Additionally, Fenton was awarded compensation for both past and future medical expenses.
